GBJAM7 Day 1

This is an important update, because I officially started making my first ever GB game! 

GBJAM7 is my second game jam. I am very excited about it because I always love Gameboy. GB game development was very intimidating until GBStudio came out.

This time I am making a RPG game about PhD student life, using Rick from Rick and Morty as a story background. 

What did I get done today?

1. Created the game on GBStudio from scratch, but use the art assets from Peter Milko's Grub's Adventure as placeholder.
2. Added the maps, including university, lab, office, and conference venue, etc.
3. Implemented combat system to attack supervisor as qualifying examination, following Peter Milko's tutorial.

Plans for tomorrow:

1. Sprites and animation for Rick and supervisor
2. Pixel arts for maps

It's almost 2am here. I will add the details tomorrow. Look forward to day 2!
